The Buzz

The WaterRower Xeno Muller rowing machine has generated a lot of excitement among the rowing community, as it gives fans of the Olympics star a chance to own a somewhat personalized, special edition model.

As we mentioned, its nearly identical to the popular Natural Rowing Machine, which has been one of our top picks for many years running.  It  is a beautifully constructed machine with one of the most natural and smooth feels you will come across.  If you are an outdoor rower, this is your machine if you want something that mimics that on-water feel.

The Xeno Muller has a few distinguishing features however.  For starters, as you can tell from the picture above, his signature appears on the rails on both sides of the rower.  So that should give you a little bit of extra motivation to hop on there and train hard.

It also has a wider 17" handle and lower footrests to give you increased range of motion.  You also get access to 50 hours of his workouts as an added bonus.

Other than that it is the same great rowing machine as the Natural, with beautiful American ash wood and honey oak stain finish.  The company has a commitment to sustainability, which is always a good thing to see.

The wood dampens sound and vibration, giving you a very quiet workout, except for the sooting whoosh of the water in the resistance tank.  There is no lag in the resistance at all, and you can increase the resistance by pulling harder on the handle.
